The Second Beast, coming up out of the earth,
is a lamb with two horns which in our days is
going through the same development. This lamb is also
metamorphosing into a beast.
"The First," in "the latter days," refers to the Mormon Church and her
denominations.
This "message" is primarily directed towards Mormons, and others
who have faith and confidence in the B. of M. D. & C. and
the Bible. If you do not believe these books are the word of
God, you will not have sufficient confidence to understand and
believe what I here lay before you. Read this article
and see if this "Second Beast" (Lamb) is:
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints.
Some of my intention with this article is to make clear that
there
exist a relationship between the churches of God, throughout all ages,
that
they have all in common:
They come into existence, exist a short time,
for
so to fade away.
The Mormon Church is by no means any exception.
As a
beginning let us start with a well known nation in B. of M.: King
Noah and his people.
The Mormon Church has many points of resemblance to this
apostate
Nephitic people.
"For there shall not any man among you have save
it be one wife; and concubines he shall have none. For I, the Lord God,
delight in the chastity of women. And whoredoms are an abomination
before me; Wherefore, this people shall keep my commandments, saith the
Lord of Hosts,
or cursed be the land for their sakes. For if I will, saith the Lord of
Hosts, raise up seed unto me,
I will command my people; otherwise they shall hearken unto these
things." Jacob 2: 27, 30
The Book of Mormon here gives us a clear message:
The Lord of Hosts will command his people to practice polygamy,
if he will raise up seed unto him. Otherwise it is prohibited
and an abomination before him.
"Yea, and they also became idolatrous, because
they were deceived by the vain and flattering words of the king and
priests; for they did speak flattering things unto them."
They became idolatrous, because the people were
deceived by their king and priests,
that is: their leaders. And this destructive process went
on without the people having any clear understanding of what
was actually going on in the church. The people
themselves were not able to expose the ungodliness of their leaders,
because they were inside the church. This church is already on its
way to ruin, we are given some of the elements in this
demolishing process. A prophet, a man of God, has to tell
them about their dangerous and desperate situation! None of
their leaders were urged by any spirit, good or evil, to tell
the people about their real state and standing. They had no
revelation from God. The Mormon church today is in some manner
in the same situation as this apostate nephitic church.
"Now when king Noah had heard of the words which
Abinadi had spoken unto the people,
he was also wroth; and he said: Who is Abinadi, that I and my people
should be judged of him,
or who is the Lord, that shall bring upon my people such great
affliction?
"Who is Abinadi?" He is a true prophet of
God, sent to warn this self conceited people,
their king and their leaders against their idol worship and the
coming disaster.
"Who is the Lord ?" He is the one who sent
Abinadi.
Abinadi's words angered them, because they considered him as a false
prophet.
"Now the eyes of the people were blinded;
therefore they hardened their hearts against the words of Abinadi, and
they sought from that time forward to take him. And king Noah hardened
his heart against the word of the Lord, and he did not repent of his
evil doings. And now, O king, what great evil hast thou done, or what
great sins have thy people committed, that we should be condemned of
God or judged of this man? And now, O king, behold, we are guiltless,
and thou, O king, hast not sinned; therefore, this man has lied
concerning you, and he has prophesied in vain. And behold, we are
strong, we shall not come into bondage, or be taken captive by our
enemies; yea, and thou hast prospered in the land, and
thou shalt also prosper."
Mosiah 11: 1,2; 7; 27;
29; 12: 12-15
This whole religious body is completely struck
with blindness, because they are totally dominated by their
leaders and they are inside the church. If they were
outside, they would have been able to do their own thinking, then
they would have seen their own misery and received the prophet of God.
The people would have understood that king Noah and all their
leaders were corrupt and ungodly and they led them on the road
to destruction.
But they were inside the church, and therefore quite helpless.
The people were not able to do their own thinking.
In this environment, the true prophet of God has
no possibility to be heard.
“Always keep your eyes on the president of the
church, and if he ever tells you anything even if it is wrong and you
do it, the Lord will bless you for it, but you don’t need to worry,
the Lord will never let his mouthpiece lead the people astray.” –
Marion Q. Romney
Stuff and nonsense ! M. Q. Romney is here in a
clear conflict with the Book of Mormon.
His dogma is directly devastating, even destructive for the church.
The Mormon people are in the same situation as those people surrounding
king Noah.
The Book of Mormon tells us: King Noah himself,
and his people, considered him as their king and leader of the nation,
and as their President of the church, and therefore he was their
mouthpiece of the Lord.
This King / President /Mouthpiece could not lead God's people astray.
Nobody in this religious body
dared speak against their leaders and 'do their own thinking.'
This is
actually the reason why this evil, and ungodly people collectively
condemned and killed Abinadi, the prophet of God.
"Lucifer wins a great
victory when he can get members of the Church to speak against their
leaders and to 'do their own thinking.'...
"When our leaders speak, the thinking has been done. When they propose
a plan, it is God's plan.
When they point
the way, there is no other which is safe. When they give
direction, it should mark the end of controversy." (Improvement Era,
June 1945, p. 354)
This is clearly the
blind leaderships philosophy, it keeps its members in a grip of
steel,
”it bindeth them down, yoketh them with a yoke of iron.” 1.Nephi
13: 5
I have heard these words before, but from
another source.
Rudolf Hess,
the Nazi Party leader, made a speech on June 30. 1934:
"One man remains beyond all criticism, and
that is
the Fuhrer. This is because everyone senses and knows, he
is always right, and he will always be right. The National
Socialism of all of us is anchored in uncritical loyalty, in
surrender to the Fuhrer."
To this Adolph Hitler dryly remarked:
"What good fortune for those in power that people
do not think."
B. of M. broadly speaks in high terms of the leaders of the
church, but it has also this to say:
"O ye wicked and ye perverse generation; ye hardened
and ye stiff-necked people, how long will ye suppose that the Lord will
suffer you? Yea, how long will
ye suffer yourselves to be led by foolish and blind guides? Yea, how
long will ye choose darkness rather than light?"
Helaman 13: 29
"For the leaders of this people cause them to err;
and they that are led of them are destroyed."
2.Nephi 19: 16
"O my people, they who lead thee cause thee to err
and destroy the way of thy paths.
The Lord will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people and
the princes thereof;
for ye have eaten up the vineyard and the spoil of the poor in your
houses. What mean ye?
Ye, beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor, saith
the Lord God of Hosts"
2.Nephi 13: 12-15
These words of God are written that we may
think.
The dogma:
"When our leaders speak, the thinking has
been done," is not of God.
"Tell
the brethren if they will follow the
Spirit of the Lord, they will go right.
Be careful and not turn away the small still voice;
it will teach them
what to do and where to go." Joseph Smith,
the Prophet.
Chapter 13 in Revelation and
chapter 86 in D. & C. treat the both Gentile churches,
let us consider "the first" (the Mormon church) in
the latter days:
"But behold, in the last days, even now while
the Lord is beginning to bring forth the word,
and the blade is springing up and is yet tender.
Behold, verily I say unto you, the angels are crying unto the Lord day
and night, who are ready and waiting to be sent forth to reap down the
fields; but the Lord saith unto them, pluck not up the tares while the
blade is yet tender
(for verily your faith is weak), lest you destroy the wheat also.
Therefore, let the wheat and the tares grow together until the
harvest is fully ripe, then you shall first gather out the wheat
from among the tares, and after the gathering of the wheat, behold
and lo, the tares are bound in bundles, and the field remaineth to
be burned." D. & C. 86: 4-7
"then you shall first gather out the wheat from among the tares"
Oh, little me! I thought the tares should first
be gathered out from among the wheat,
then only wheat would remain in the church. Now, when the
wheat is first gathered out from among the tares, only tares
remain in the church, and the same situation occurs in our days,
as took place to the sister church after: "the tares
choke the wheat":
Only tares remain in the church of the Lamb.
The main supporting pillar in my story is:
"And the time cometh that he shall manifest himself unto all
nations,
both unto the Jews and also unto the Gentiles;
and after he has manifested himself unto the Jews
and also unto the Gentiles, then he shall manifest himself
unto the Gentiles and also unto the Jews,
and the last
shall be first, and the first shall be last."
1. Nephi 13: 42;
(D.&C. 29: 11; 34: 9; 133: 8; Jacob 5: 63; Ether 13: 12)
The Book of Mormon tells us here what Jesus really meant with the words:
"But many that are first shall be last; and the last
first." Mark 10: 31.
The intelligent
Mormon apostle Orson Pratt gives us this commentary:
"You know that Scripture which says: The first shall
be last, and the last shall be first!
Now, the Gospel, when it was preached in Ancient Times, was preached
first to the
Jews, the house of Israel, to those of Israelites origin, and when they
counted themselves unworthy to eternal life, and rejected that Gospel,
Lo says Paul, we turn unto the Gentiles. The Gentiles, then heard it
last, they were last to embrace the Gospel of the Kingdom, and the Jews
first, that is, as many of them as would believe and repent. But
in the last days, when the angel brings the Gospel,
it is reversed, and it is preached first to the Gentiles, to bring in
their fullness, and to fulfill their times, and then it will be sent to
the house of Israel." J.of D. 18: 176 Orson Pratt.
"The Book of Mormon claims to be a divinely
inspired record, written by a succession of prophets who inhabited
ancient America. It professes to be revealed to present generation for
the salvation of all who
will receive it, and for the overthrow and damnation of all nations who
reject it.
This book must be either true or false. If true, it is one of the most
important messages ever sent from God to man, affecting both the
temporal and eternal interest of every people under heaven to the same
extent and in the same degree that
the message of Noah affected the inhabitants of the old world. If
false, it is one of the most cunning, wicked, bold, deep laid
impositions ever palmed upon
the world, calculated to deceive and ruin millions who will sincerely
receive it as the word of God, and will suppose themselves securely
built upon the rock of truth until they are plunged with their families
into hopeless despair. The nature
of the message in the Book of Mormon is such, that if true, no one can
possibly be saved and reject it. If false, no one can
possibly be saved and receive it. Therefore, every soul in all
the world is equally interested in ascertaining its truth or
falsity."
Orson Pratt.
Jesus was obviously bound to present the
Kingdom of God to "the first", the Jews,
the Gentiles
had to wait for their turn to come,
they are clearly, "the last" in the Meridian of Time.
Jesus was really in a hurry, he had only three years at
his disposal for his period of service, and he knew that the
Jews would not be able to resist the attack of the Devil.
He told one of his disciples to follow him, but he said:
"Lord,
suffer me first to go and bury my father."
The answer Jesus gave him must be characterized as the most sensational
expression
in the whole
literature of the world:
"Let the dead bury their dead; but go thou and preach the Kingdom of
God." Luke 9:
59-62.
"The first" the
Jews, are deprived the
Kingdom of God.
"Therefore say I into you, the Kingdom of
God shall be taken from you,
and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof."
Matt. 21: 43.
Here is a clear proof that the Jews "the first"
have to give way, the Kingdom is taken
from them. The Jews got Jesus executed, and this had serious
consequences for them.
Jesus prophesied this:
"As for these things which ye behold (the temple),
the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon
another, that shall not be thrown down. And when ye shall see Jerusalem
compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away
captive into all nations, and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the
Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled."
Luke 21: 6, 20, 24.
These words of Jesus were all completely
fulfilled. Titus, the son of Caesar Vespasian, encircled
Jerusalem in year 70 A.D. and a terrible famine broke out
in the overcrowded town. Maybe 1 mill. Jews lost their lives,
and even more were sold as slaves, others were driven into
exile. Jerusalem was leveled with the ground, the temple was
laid in ruins, and the Jews were deprived the kingdom of God, and
their homeland. A cruel destiny struck the poor Jewish people, all
this because they had rejected their Messiah.
"And as for those who are at Jerusalem, saith
the prophet, they shall be scourged by all people,
because they crucify the God of Israel, and turn their hearts aside,
rejecting signs and wonders and the power and glory of the God of
Israel.” 1. Nephi 19: 13.
From then on the Kingdom of God was taken away
from "the first", the Jews.
This Jewish church was "driven out into the wilderness."
See: Rev. 12: 14-17; D. & C. 33: 5;
86: 3
Jesus said to the Jews that the Kingdom of God
should be taken away from them,
and given to another nation bringing forth the fruits thereof, what
nation, he did not mention, that it should be the Gentiles, for that,
the Jews had no understanding or any form of conception.
But it should be the Gentiles, "the last" in Ancient Times.
"Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you; but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, Lo, we turn to the Gentiles." Acts. 13: 46
That the Gentiles stand for the last evangelical dispensation in Ancient Times cannot be disputed, Paul calls himself the apostle of the Gentiles. He was commanded by revelation from God to bring forth the gospel of salvation. Acts. 14: 27; 18: 6; 22: 21; 28: 28.
Act. 10: tells us that there was a certain man
in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion, a devout man, who
feared God and gave much alms and prayed to God always. He saw
an angel of God in a vision and was told to call for Peter in Joppa.
Cornelius was not informed why this vision was given him. Peter
was also given a vision and saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel
descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the
four corners and let down to the earth, wherein were all manner
of four footed beasts of the earth, and all kinds of animals. Peter
was neither given any explanation or announcement concerning this
heavenly vision, namely that the kingdom of God should be
handed over from the Jews,
("the first") to the Gentiles, ("the last.")
"Then has God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life."
This church in Ancient Times, consisted in the
beginning of Jews only. She was a direct successor of
"the first", (the Jews), with its apostles, prophets, pastors
and teachers.
The church was in possession of the higher, Holy Priesthood
with
all the gifts of God; prophesy, revelations, healing, miracles,
speaking
in tongues etc. They had all things in common ("united order").
Acts. 2: 44, 45; 4: 32-36; 5:1-11; Luke 12:
33;
18: 22; Also 4. Nephi 3
The church received the promises given to the
Jews by Christ himself:
Most of the Christian world, despite its many different faiths,
churches and denominations,
proclaim that this promise made by Jesus will have effect "even
unto
the end of the world."
How can a church like this after receiving such an assurance,
and that from the Lord himself, fall into ruin? Yes, we have to
admit: These are strong words!
But the NT also hints at an apostasy, which will be quite
destructive for the church.
2.Thess. 2: 3, 4. Here arises a conflict.
Will the church be victorious and remain standing, or will she lose and
fall?
Remember:
Satan has crushed into pieces all the churches of God throughout all
ages.
With only one exception: Enoch and his church, but they were
taken up into heaven.
It is nearly impossible to understand that the
Lord has given these great promises
unconditionally. Her sister church, "the first", the Gentile church,
in the latter days,
has been given the exact same promises and
information in our days, but not unconditionally:
"And upon this rock (revelation) I will
build my church; yea, upon this rock ye are built, and if you continue,
(to build upon this rock) the gates of hell shall not prevail
against you."
"And inasmuch as ye are humble and faithful and call upon my name,
behold, I will give you the victory:" D, & C.
33: 13; 104: 82.
Here the promises of God are given conditionally.
If we do not continue to build upon this rock, and inasmuch
we are not humble and faithful and do not call upon his
name:
"The gates of hell shall prevail against us."
"I command and men obey not; I revoke and they
receive not the blessing; Then they say in their hearts: 'This is not
the work of the Lord, for his promises are not fulfilled'. But woe unto
such,
for their reward lurketh beneath, and not from above." D.
& C. 58: 32,
"There is a law, irrevocably decreed in heaven
before the foundation of this world, upon which all blessings are
predicated. And when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by
obedience to that law upon which it is predicated." D. & C.
130: 20, 21
"I will give you the victory". The victory
over what? Over the Devil! This victory over the Devil
has conditions attached. If we do not obey the word of
God, we will surely fall. We
will learn, that in spite of that the Gentile church in the
Meridian
of Time was fully equipped to withstand the Devil, and was
given promises and blessings from Christ himself, and was in
possession
of a God given organization, in spite of all this, she was not
able
to resist the terrible attack of Satan. The proofs are many. I
do
not want to search the proofs from the historical facts, but
rather
from the word of God, and I will make it shortly:
And it came to pass that I
saw among the nations of the Gentiles the formation of a great
church. And the angel said unto me: Behold the formation of a church
which is most abominable above all other churches, which slayeth the
saints of God, yea, and tortureth them and bindeth them down, and
yoketh them with a yoke of iron, and bringeth them down into captivity.
And it came to pass that I beheld this great and abominable
church;
and I saw the Devil that he was the foundation of it."
1.Nephi 13: 4-6;
Strong, evil forces in the church slay, torture,
bind and yoke the saints, and bring them down into captivity.
These destructive forces will now gain the victory.
Nephi is here witnessing
the formation of a great and abominable church. The Gentile
church, "the Saints" in Ancient Times. She undergoes a
transformation, from being the
church of
God, to becoming the church of the Devil. Nephi
speaks distinctly and clearly.
He uses no obscure or symbolic phrases. The church of God will
now transform into
"the most abominable above all other churches."
He uses the word "church" in order to eliminate any question
about animals or other creatures we otherwise have to explain.
The church is under the attack from demonic forces, he
leaves us no doubt:
The Devil is the attacker.
"And it came to pass that I looked and beheld the whore of all the
earth, and she sat upon many
waters; and she had dominion over all the earth, among all nations,
kindreds, tongues, and peoples" 1.Nephi
14: 11.
The foundation is laid for the great and
abominable church. This demolishing process occurs at an early
point of time and inside the church itself. Many parts which
are plain and most precious, and also many covenants of the Lord are
taken away. Baptism for the living becomes altered. Baptism for
the dead is completely taken away, the Lord's Supper is
mystified and changed, the apostles are killed, "the united
order" comes to an end, as do healing, miracles, revelations, yes,
nearly all the gifts of God. The transformation of the church of God is
accomplished, the evil forces have gained the victory, this
church has now the dominion all over the earth, the true and
divine church of God has ceased to exist, this is: "the
great falling away."
The apostasy of the Gentile church is
described by
the apostle Paul in this way:
"For the time will come when they will not
endure sound doctrine, but after their own lust heap to
themselves teachers, having itching ears, and they shall turn away
their ears from the truth,
and shall be turned into fables." 2. Tim. 4: 3-5
This sounds like the total apostasy, it is not a
partial falling away
And I stood upon the sand of the sea,
and I saw a beast rise up out of the sea
having seven heads
and ten horns, and upon his
horns ten crowns,
and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw
was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as
the feet of a bear,
and his mouth as the mouth of a lion, and the dragon gave him his power,
and his seat, and great authority."
Revelation 13: 1, 2
Shortly
interpreted:
This strange and cruel picture which John paints before our staring
eyes, is the Christianity in our own days, after developing
from a Lamb in Ancient Times, into this Monster in our own time.
The heads are the great, most important churches:
The Catholic church, Lutheran, Calvin, Russian, Orthodox, The Church of
England etc.
The horns are churches standing upon the heads and therefore
denomination churches belonging to their respective heads.
The Mormon apostle M'cConkie calls this
passage: "Satan governs earthly kingdoms,"
and he makes this remark: "The prophet Joseph Smith gave this
counsel to missionaries: Declare the first principles, and let
mysteries alone, lest ye be overthrown. Never meddle with the visions
of beasts and subjects you do not understand. He then read Rev.13: 1-8
as an illustration of scriptural passages which should not be
used in presenting the message of the restoration to the world.
With reference to this
passage, he named some of the speculative interpretations found in the
sectarian world, said pointedly that they are "not true"; gave some
explanations which show the general concept involved; but refrained
from identifying those nations and kingdoms whose acts and course are
set forth in the imagery revealed to John." Doctrinal NT
Commentary III p 520
"And it was given into him to make war with the saints,
and to overcome them and power was given him
over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations."
Rev. 13: 7
John tells us here in plain text:
This is the total Apostasy.
Satan is given permission from God to wage war against the saints,
and he overcomes them and God gives Satan power over the whole
mankind.
Now, we leave the Gentile church, "the last" in
Ancient Times
and turn towards her sister church, the second Gentile church,
"the first" in the latter days, the Mormon Church
and her denominations.
A great and pruning question arises: Will
the second, the last Gentile church, "the first" in the latter days, be
able to survive the battle against Satan? For this battle will
surely arise. We have to remember and keep clearly in mind the
destroying destiny of her sister church nearly 2000 years ago,
obviously the Gentile Church in the Meridian of Time, lost that
battle. The Gentile church in these latter days has its only legitimate
claim if "the last" in Ancient
Times really was crushed by Satan. If she was
not, then the saying:
"the first shall be last and the last shall be first",
is only
an empty phrase, and my whole theses and philosophy are good for
nothing.
But this phraseology is genuine NT, and Jesus Christ himself stands
behind it:
"And Jesus said unto them: But many that are
first shall
be last; and the last shall be first."
Matt. 19:
30 Also: Mark 10: 31; Luke 13: 30; Ether 13: 12
Joseph Smith, the Mormon prophet, the Gentiles
great prophet in the latter days, was ordained to lay the
foundation of the second Gentile church, "the first in the latter days",
and bring fourth the first evangelical dispensation in these
latter days.
In "the first vision", he was told "not to join
with any of them." That means that God could not build his
kingdom upon any
of the existing churches, this is a clear indication that
the former Gentile church had undergone a demolishing
transition into ruin.
We cannot understand this otherwise.
Then follows the angel Moroni, a resurrected,
glorified and immortal being. He brings the sealed golden
plates of Ancient America. Joseph Smith is charged with the
task of translating 1/3 of the golden plates from "reformed Egyptian"
into modern English. The remaining
2/3, which is the sealed portion of the Book of Mormon, should
remain sealed and kept in readiness to be translated, if
the church proved herself worthy to receive them.
"And when they shall have received this, (1/3
of B.M.)
which is expedient that they should have first, to try their faith, and
if it shall so be that they shall believe these things then shall the
greater things (2/3 of B.M.) be made manifest unto them. And if
it so be that they will not believe these
things, then shall the greater things be withheld from
them unto their condemnation. Behold, I (Mormon) was about to
write them all, which were engraven upon the plates of Nephi,
but the Lord forbade it, saying: I will try the faith of my
people." 3.Nephi 26: 9 -11
"And he (Joseph Smith) has translated the book, even that
part which
I have commanded him,
and as your Lord and your God liveth it is true." "And I have given
into him the keys of the mystery of those things which have been
sealed, even things which were from the foundation of the world,"
D. & C. 17: 6; 35: 18
The good Mormon apostle Orson Pratt has given
us these fractions. Actually, according to Orson Pratt, today
we have only 1/3 of the Book of Mormon, the remaining 2/3 are
hidden and sealed up, but they shall come forth in the
own due time of the Lord,
and not to the Gentiles, but "unto
the House of Israel."
"And also others who have been, to them hath he
shown all things, and they have written them; and they are sealed up to
come forth in their purity, according to the truth which is in the
Lamb,
in the own due time of the Lord, unto the house of Israel."
1.Nephi 14: 26
"And it shall come to pass that the Lord God
shall bring forth unto you the words of a book,
and they shall be the words of them which have slumbered. And behold
the book shall be sealed; and in the book shall be a revelation from
God, from the beginning of the world to the ending thereof. Wherefore,
because of the things which are sealed up, the things which are sealed
shall not be delivered in the day of wickedness and abomination of the
people. Wherefore the book shall be kept from them. But the book shall
be delivered unto a man, and he shall deliver the words of the book,
which are the words of those who have slumbered in the dust, and he
shall deliver these words unto another; but the words which are sealed
he shall not deliver, neither shall he deliver the book. For the book
shall be sealed by the power of God, and the revelation which was
sealed shall be kept in the book until the own due time of the Lord,
that they may come forth, for behold,
they reveal all
things from the foundation of the world unto the end thereof.
Touch not the things which are sealed, for I will bring them forth
in my own due time;"
2.Nephi 27: 6-10, 21; Mormon 5: 9; Ether
3: 22-28; 4: 4-7,13; 5:1
This translation,which represents today the
Book of
Mormon, was carried out by a relatively ignorant, poor, young
farm boy, not capable of translating any language at all;
Emma, his wife said: 'Joseph could hardly write his own name.'
The 2/3 of the golden plates of the Book of Mormon are still sealed up,
and this clearly shows us that the church was not counted
worthy to receive them;
"the greater things are being withheld from them unto their
condemnation."
The church actually finds herself in an extremely
dangerous situation.
"And your minds in times past have been darkened
because of unbelief, and because you have treated lightly the things
you have received. Which vanity and unbelief have brought the whole
church under condemnation. And this condemnation resteth upon the
children of Zion, even all.
And they shall remain under this condemnation until they repent and
remember the new covenant,
even the Book of Mormon and the former commandments which I have given
them, not only to say, but to do according to that which I have
written." D. & C. 84: 54-57
"Therefore, keep these sayings which I have
commanded you that you come not under condemnation; for wo unto him
whom the Father condemneth." 3.Nephi 18: 33.
I meditated on the Gentile Church in Antiquity,
I saw how easily and quickly she fell disintegrated to the ground,
Satan was the cause of this tremendous destruction.
I understood that this church developed into the colossus of
Christendom.
Suddenly it struck me, what about the second
beast in the same 13. chapter
in the Book of Revelation, who was that? Could it be...
? ... ? No! Oh...? No!
I was a lonely man, I could not ask anybody,
but could I? I went into prayer on my knees, mostly in the
middle of the night. This became a battle, a struggle,
because I didn't get any answer at all, the Lord didn't answer my
prayers, he didn't care to tell me: "The true state and
standing" of the Gentile church in the latter days.
I have to confess, the Lord remained silent. I got alarmed,
disappointed, sick, I wanted to die. Maybe they
were right all those who said: 'There is no God that is just
stupid imagination.'
The B. of M. has many scriptures regarding
prayer:
"We cannot understand the words which our father
hath spoken concerning
the natural branches of the olive tree and also concerning the
Gentiles. And I said unto them;
"Have ye inquired of the Lord?"
1.Nephi 15: 8
"And likewise also is it counted evil unto a man,
if he shall pray and not with real intent of heart;
yea, and it profiteth him nothing, for God receiveth none such."
"For if ye would hearken unto the Spirit which
teacheth a man to pray ye would know that ye must pray, for the
evil spirit teacheth not a man to pray, but teacheth him that he must
not pray...
I say unto you that ye must pray always and not faint."
2.Nephi 32: 8, 9
So I persisted resolutely in my prayers towards
heaven; and at last, after many lonely nights, my struggle was
rewarded, and I had the divinity of the Book
of Mormon confirmed:
"Nevertheless after much tribulations,
the Lord did
hear my cries, and did answer my prayers."
Mosiah 23: 10.
The Lord showed me and answered me concerning
the real and true situation of
"the first,"
the Gentile church in the latter days, the
Mormon Church,
and he did it in this strange way:
"Behold, I was about to write them, all which
were engraven upon the plates of Nephi,
but the Lord forbade it, saying: I will try the faith of my people."
"Write the things which you have seen and heard, save it be those which
are forbidden."
3.Nephi 26: 11; 27: 23.
We are not informed as to what is forbidden.
"And when these things come, bringeth to pass the scripture which
saith:
There are they who were first, who shall be last;
and there are they who were last, who shall be first.
And I was about to write more, but I am forbidden."
Ether 13: 12,13.
"and there are they who were last, who shall be first. (Moroni is
here interrupted!)
And I was about
to write more, but I am forbidden."(?!)
Why! These are the Gentile churches, both of them;
Obviously, Moroni was about to
write more about the Gentile churches, "the
last" and "the first", but he was forbidden. We remember the Jews were:
"the first" and "the last." We must take it for granted,
these are the
churches Moroni was forbidden to write about, at any rate and
especially the Gentile church in the latter days. The other
Gentile church, in Ancient Times, has the Book of Mormon (Nephi), 1000
years earlier, already described as a fallen church:
"And the angel said unto me: Behold the formation of a church
which is most abominable above all other churches, which slayeth the
saints of God, yea, and tortureth them and bindeth them down, and
yoketh them with a yoke of iron, and bringeth them down into captivity.
And it came to pass that I beheld this great and abominable church; and
I saw the devil that he was the founder of it."
1 Nephi 13: 5, 6
"But the things which thou (Nephi) shalt see hereafter, thou shalt not write; for the Lord God hath ordained the apostle of the Lamb of God (John) that he should write them. And behold, I, Nephi, am forbidden that I should write the remainder of the things which I saw and heard; wherefore the things which I have written sufficeth me; and I have written but a small part of the things which I saw." 1.Nephi 14: 25, 28
Here we learn that Nephi is forbidden to write
the remainder of the things which he saw
and heard. It was to remain a secret in the B. of M. and was not
told plainly by Nephi that the Gentile churches, especially
"the first" in "the latter days" should be crushed by the
Devil, in the same manner as her sister church in Ancient Times. We
have good reason to believe that John the Revelator will tell us about
the Gentile churches in his particular way, and not Nephi, because
he has a characteristic way of writing peculiar to him.
Nephi's manner of writing is too open and he would reveal the
secrets at once.
The Lord doesn't take away the free agency of man, he doesn't change
his personality,
he doesn't change Nephi's way of writing.
"Joseph could hardly write his own name", as
Emma said, therefore Joseph needed others to write the Book of
Mormon for him, later he
had to learn writing,
God didn't just give him that ability.
The following shows "the personality" of Nephi, that means, his way of writing:
"Wherefore I shall prophesy according to the
plainness which hath been with me
from the time that I came out from Jerusalem with my father;"
"for behold, my soul delighteth in plainness unto my people, that they may learn."
"I proceed with my own prophecy, according to
my plainness,
in the which I know that no man can err."
"And now, my brethren, I have spoken plainly that ye cannot err."
"Ye are a stiff-necked people; wherefore,
I have spoken plainly unto you that you cannot misunderstand."
"I shall speak unto you plainly, according to
the plainness of my prophesying.
For my soul delighteth in plainness;"
"I glory in plainness; I glory in truth."
2. Nephi 25: 4, 7, 20, 28; 31: 2, 3; 33: 6.
This Nephi's way of writing, is essentially
different from John the Revelator.
This plainness and truth was not wanted by the Lord 600 years
before Christ. The destiny of the Gentile church in the latter
days has to be kept hidden, and will first be disclosed by John
the Revelator in due time.
We would get too
far if we tried to search in the Book of Daniel,
because this is a sealed book. We are not able to read (understand) a
sealed book:
"But thou, 0 Daniel, shut up the words, and seal
the book, even to the time of the end."
"And he said, go thy way, Daniel; for the words are closed up and
sealed till the time of the end."
Daniel 12: 4, 9
"And the vision of all is become unto you as the
words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is
learned, saying, read this I pray thee; and he saith, I cannot; for it
is sealed. And the book
is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, read this I
pray thee; and he saith,
I am not learned." Isaiah 29: 11, 12.
Obviously, nobody can read (understand) a
sealed book, that is just why it is sealed!
The book of Daniel will be understood when the seals are broken
by Daniel at:
"the time of the end"
The Book of Revelation is not a sealed
book, it
is an open book: (and so is also B. of M.)
"Seal not the saying of the prophecy of this book"
Rev. 22: 10
B. of M. says: "To
come forth by the gift and power of God unto the interpretation
thereof."
We have now two
important books which are not sealed, they are open for interpretation:
So, if I have the gift of God, I might
be able to interpret these two books!
Chapter 13 in Revelation, which dealt with the
Gentile church in the Meridian of Time,
this very same chapter also deals with her sister church in our own
time:
John tells us: The first beast who rose up
out of the sea, was already fully developed into a monster, but
that monster was first a Lamb.
This second beast, coming up out of the earth, is a Lamb, developing
into a monster!
This "another beast "(Lamb) is:
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints and her
denominations!
She is presented to us with her full name and address!
No other church upon the whole earth fits into this picture!
Before making my commentary concerning this beast, let us first listen to the well known and famous Mormon apostle M'cConkie and see what this notorious beast means to him:
"Other evil and devil led powers arise to
exercise dominion over man in his fallen and spiritually degenerated
state. The identity of these powers remains to be revealed. It will be
interesting, interesting? nay, fascinating ! to see what the future
holds as the full meaning of
this passage
unfolds and the identity of the actual "beast" is revealed." (Sic)
NT Commentary III 523, 524.
This is the learned and recognized apostle's
understanding and explanation of
"the another beast" in the Revelation of St. John the Divine. It
sounds like an ordinary Methodist clergyman. He calls this
section: "Church of devil works miracles."
"The full meaning of this passage"?
This is a lamb, of course the church of the Lamb, the Gentile church
in the latter days,
the sister church of "the first beast", the very first beast 2000
years ago,
which had its origin from the church of the Lamb in Ancient Times!
John tells us clearly: The two Gentile churches, the one in
Ancient Times and the other one,
in "the latter days", do not survive, both of them fall into ruin!
Listen to "little me"; I want to give you my commentary:
"And I beheld another beast..."
Another; gr. ALLOS, means actually: Another of
the same kind (like the first beast).
This is the sister church of the first beast (the Monster) that rose
up out of the sea.
This beast, is of the same kind, and is coming up out of the earth,
clearly they belong together! They are of a piece.
Nephi said:
"I shall speak unto you plainly, according to the
plainness of my prophesying, for my soul delighteth in plainness." "I
give unto you a prophecy, according to the spirit which is in me,
wherefore I shall prophecy according to the plainness which has been
with me
from the time that I came out from Jerusalem."
This plainness will lay the whole stage wide open. As I see
this revelation, the Lord uses John and not Nephi, to conceal. These
secrets shall be made understandable in the latter days.
"Coming up out of the earth"
The prophet Joseph Smith has, among many other
things, been accused being a plagiarist,
and in this case we have to admit that his many enemies are
completely right! (Sic)
Yes, the Book of Mormon came up out of the
earth and laid the foundation
of the church of the Lamb (the Mormon Church) in the latter days.
"and he had two horns"
Aug. 27. 1834 and April 22. 1839; Joseph Smith
says that he will be succeeded
by his oldest son, Joseph Smith III (D. M. Quinn pp 630, 638)
Joseph Smith, the prophet, ordained and prophesied on June
11.1844, that his son, Joseph, should be his theocratic
successor and the president of the church. This was a little
more than two weeks before he was assassinated, June 27.1844,
President
Brigham Young acknowledged this by saying:
”It will be his (Joseph Smith III) right to preside over this church.”
B.Y. Oct. 1866 gen. Conf.
The Prophet Joseph Smith's many malicious enemies
here have a clear proof that he was a false or fallen prophet,
because this was a false prophecy, it was never fulfilled. His
son never became the president of the church, young Joseph
never became the president of the Mormon church. But young Joseph
became the president of the other
church, The Reorganized Church, that means, the
other horn!! The prophecy was quite true, Joseph Smith doesn't
fall,
These two horns are namely standing upon the one and the same
head !!
"like a lamb"
Yes, we have made up our minds, this
is the Church of the Lamb, the Gentiles,
"the first" in the latter days. The Mormon Church.
"and he spake as a dragon"
This church is still a Lamb, but she
already speaks as a dragon.
This tells us clearly:
The church of the Lamb in the latter days
undergoes the same metamorphosis
as did her sister church, the Church of the Lamb in the Meridian of
Time:
She develops
from a Lamb into a Monster.
BLOOD
ATONEMENT
This false, cruel and abominable doctrine was
essentially proclaimed by the church's second president Brigham Young,
early after the Saints were well established in Zion, Utah, after the
martyrdom of Joseph Smith, the prophet. The reader can make a decision
of his own what this frightful and inhuman doctrine means, after
reading Brigham Young's own model of explanation. We have
to take into consideration that B. Y. was a tyrannical person and ruled
as a dictator, wherefore nobody dared speak against him.
"There are sins that men commit for which they cannot receive forgiveness in this world, or in that which is to come, and if they had their eyes open to see their true condition, they would be perfectly willing to have their blood spilt upon the ground, that the smoke there of might ascend to heaven as an offering for their sins; and the smoking incense would atone for their sins, whereas, if such is not the case, they will stick to them and remain upon them in the spirit world. I know, when you hear my brethren telling about cutting people off from the earth, that you consider it is strong doctrine; but it is to save them, not to destroy them . . ."
"I do know that there are sins committed, of such a nature that if the people did understand the doctrine of salvation, they would tremble because of their situation. And furthermore, I know that there are transgressors, who, if they knew themselves, and the only condition upon which they can obtain forgiveness, would beg of their brethren to shed their blood, that the smoke thereof might ascend to God as an offering to appease the wrath that is kindled against them, and that the law might have its course. I will say further; I have had men come to me and offer their lives to atone for their sins."
"It is true that the blood of the Son of God was
shed for sins through the fall and those committed by men, yet men can
commit sins which it can never remit. As it was in ancient days, so it
is in our day; and though the principles are taught publicly from this
stand, still the people do not understand them; yet the law is
precisely the same. There are sins that can be atoned for by an
offering upon an altar, as in ancient days; and there are sins that the
blood of a lamb, of a calf, or of turtle doves, cannot remit, but they
must be atoned for by the blood of the man. That is the reason why men
talk to you as they do from this stand; they understand the
doctrine and throw out a few words about it. You have been taught that
doctrine, but you do not understand it".
J.of D. 4: 53-54 (September 21, 1856)
"If any miserable scoundrels come here, cut their
throats." B. Y.
"I say, rather than that apostates should flourish here, I will
unsheath my bowie knife, and conquer or die. [Great commotion in the
congregation, and a simultaneous burst of feeling, assenting
to the declaration.] Now, you nasty apostates, clear out, or
judgment will be put to the line, and righteousness to the plummet.
[Voices, generally, "go it, go it."] If you say it is
right, raise your hands. [All hands up.] Let us call upon the Lord to
assist us in this, and every good work."
J.of D. 1: 83 (March 27, 1853)
"You say, That man ought to die for transgressing
the law of God. Let me suppose you found your brother in bed with your
wife, and put a javelin through both of them, you would be justified,
and they would atone for their sins, and be received into the kingdom
of God. I would at once do
so in such a case; and under such circumstances. I have no wife whom I
love so well
that I would not put a javelin through her heart, and I would do it
with clean hands." (sic)
"and he spake as a dragon"
Discourse by President Brigham Young, Delivered in the Tabernacle,
Great Salt Lake City, March 16. 1856
Journal of Discourses Vol. III page 247
"Brigham Young said a lot of things!"
- Gordon B. Hinckley
These discourses were delivered in full
publicity by Brigham Young himself.
Has that man really God's mandate to say and do these things?
"And the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of
Moab. . . .And when Phinheas, saw it, he rose up from among the
congregation, and took a javelin in his hand; And he went after the man
of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of
Israel and the woman through her belly, so the plague was stayed from
the children of Israel.".
Numbers 25: 1, 7, 8.
This is, may be, the scripture Brigham Young sought out for teaching
his, Blood atonement.
"Wherefore, we speak concerning the law that
our children may know the deadness of the law;
and they, by knowing the deadness of the law, may look forward
unto that life which is in Christ, and know for what end the law
was given. And after the law is fulfilled in Christ, that they need not
harden their hearts against him when the
law ought to be done away." 2. Nephi 25: 27
"Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the
prophets. I am not come to destroy but to fulfill; For verily I say
unto
you, one jot nor tittle hath not passed away from the law, but in me it
hath all been fulfilled. And he said unto them: Marvel not that I said
unto you that old things had passed away, and that all things had
become new. Behold, I say unto you that the law is fulfilled that was
given unto Moses. Behold, I am he that gave the law, and I am he who
covenanted with my people Israel; therefore, the law in me is
fulfilled, for I have come to fulfill the law; therefore it hath an
end.
Behold, I do not destroy the prophets, for as many
as have not been fulfilled in me, verily I say unto you, shall all be
fulfilled. And because I said unto you that old things have passed
away,
I do not destroy that which hath been spoken concerning things which
are to come For behold, the covenant which I have made with
my people is not all fulfilled; but the law which was given unto Moses
hath an end in me. Behold, I am the law, and the light. Look
unto me, and endure to the end, and ye shall live; for unto him that
endureth to the end will I give eternal life. Behold, I have given
unto you the commandments; therefore keep my commandments. And this
is the law and the prophets, for they truly testified of me. In that
he saith. A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which
decayeth and waxeth is ready to wanish away."
3. Nephi 12: 17,18; 15: 3-10; Hebr
8: 13
John tells us here straight away: This woman
who was taken in adultery, "in the very act," just in the
exactly same way as Brigham Young describes for us, has not
committed a crime so grave and condemning, that she herself has
to atone for her sin by giving
her life as
"a smoking incense to the Almighty," and that the propitiatory
sacrifice of Christ is not sufficient to give her the remission
of sins, as Brigham Young will have us believe.
Brigham Young would not have cast a stone at her, he would have
put a javelin through her, and thereby saved her life, and
himself being justified in committing such a horrible crime. Brigham
Young condemns her, but Jesus Christ forgives her.
Joseph Smith, the Gentile's great prophet,
is revealing a fantastic information about Israel, when they,
after their 40 years of sufferings and pains in the wilderness, were
given another punishment even worse than the first one. Strangely
enough the Jews were never informed that this cruel thing had struck
them. It was kept as a secret for 3500 years:
"Now this Moses plainly taught to the children of
Israel in the wilderness, and sought diligently to sanctify his people
that they might behold the face of God; but they hardened their hearts
and could not endure his presence; therefore, the Lord in his wrath,
for his anger was kindled against them, swore that they should not
enter into his rest while in the wilderness,
which rest is the fullness of his glory,
therefore, he took Moses out of their midst, and the Holy Priesthood also;
And the lesser priesthood continued, which priesthood holdeth the
key of ministering of angels and the preparatory gospel. Which gospel
is the gospel of repentance and of baptism, and the remission of sins,
and the law of carnal commandments," D. & C. 84: 23-26
What was the actual reason that the Lord took
his Holy Priesthood away from ISRAEL ?
ANSWER: The whole ISRAEL were punished for one only reason:
They didn't respond upon the commandment from the Lord their God when
they stood south
in the desert facing the promised land, Kanaan, "Take this land into
your possession."
Read: Numbers 14. chapter! !
We are quite convinced, that the Lord
will act according to divine justice
and righteousness in his mode of treatment, to treat these two
peoples equally, so:
"therefore, he took Joseph out of their midst, and the Holy Priesthood also;
And the lesser priesthood continued, which priesthood holdeth the key of ministering of angels and the preparatory gospel. Which gospel is the gospel of repentance and of baptism, and the remission of sins, and the law of carnal commandments,"
Obviously, the Lord did not seem it necessary
to supply us with this information:
That he has taken the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood away from the
church, but when we behold the character and the situation of
the church to-day, we fully realize that this is the case.
Ministering of angels? I have never seen, nor heard anybody who
has uttered anything about this in my more than 47 years in this church,
it is more likely that this lesser priesthood that "holdeth the
key of
ministering of angels," has been taken away as well.
Let us look at
a few "proofs."
The Lord commanded all these things to be obeyed!
Benson, president, seer, revelator, translator and prophet, "having all the gifts of God which he bestows upon the head of the church," has addressed the members of the church with this incredible question: Are we still under this condemnation'? by making reference to the passage in D. & C. 84: 56 "And this condemnation resteth upon the children of Zion, even all."
This revelation given the church September 22.
1832 is about 170 years old.
Seemingly, for all this time the leaders of the church have been
ignorant of this extremely
important question concerning the condition of the church, but what
is the answer?
Of course the answer is: Yes! We are still under this condemnation
of God, for if we were not, then Benson would not have had any
reason what so ever to pose such a serious
and dangerous question upon us. By being unable to answer, Benson
tells us:
"The church is on its way to be handed over to the Devil."
Remember; King Noah, his priests, his people, they didn't know or
understood anything.
"upon this rock (revelation) I will build my
church, and if you continue,
(to build upon this rock) the gates of hell shall not prevail against
you."
The church has no connection with the celestial worlds,
for if Benson had these connections, then he could answer the
question himself and not handed the question over to the
members of the church. He is that man being nearest to heaven,
he is by no means not just anybody, listen, what man he
actually ought to be:
"The power and authority of the higher, or
Melchizedek Priesthood is to hold the keys of all the spiritual
blessings of the church, to have the privilege of receiving the
mysteries of the kingdom
of heaven, to have the heavens opened unto them, to
commune with the general assembly and the church of the Firstborn, and
to enjoy the communion and presence of God the Father, and
Jesus the mediator of the new
covenant."
"And again, the duty of the president of the
office of the High Priesthood is to preside over the whole
church, and to be like unto Moses. Behold
here is wisdom; yea, to be a seer, a revelator, a translator, and a
prophet, having all the gifts of God which he bestows upon the
head of the church." D. & C. 107: 18,
19, 91, 92
This revelation given the church from God,
indicates that the president cannot possibly be in possession of the
Melchizedek Priesthood. Benson gives us a clear proof that the
church is on the road to destruction. Where is this rock of
revelation, where are the gifts of God in this Gentile church
in the latter days, those gifts so abundantly given her sister
church,
the Gentile church in Ancient Times?
President Benson assumed responsibility
for the Mormon Church in 1985, 86 years old.
He died in 1994, nearly 95 years old as in body and mind
down broken old man. He fell a victim to that unhappy,
ill judged misfortune introduced to the Church in a
commanding voice by the second president of
the Church, Brigham Young,
presented to the Church under the name of
"Seniority" This became a horrible flaw, forever crippling
the Church future administration. This system has to be considered
unserviceable. The "Salt Lake Tribune" says: "Steve Benson, (grandson of President Benson)
suggested that the present policy, which requires that the
Prophet serves for life with no possibility of retirement, is a system
that obviously isn't working."
Steve Benson tells us that his grandfather
was struggling with encroaching senility during
much of his nine-year administration. Steve was upset by the
church leaders attempts
to keep his grandfather's actual condition from church members.
He said: "I believe the church strives mightily to
perpetuate the myth, the fable, the fantasy that President Benson, if
not operating on all cylinders, at least is functioning
effectively enough, even with just a nod of his head to be regarded
by the saints as a living, functioning prophet."
He tells us
further about: "Carefully staged photo sessions aimed
at depicting an alert prophet seated in a suit before a desk piled with
well-wishers cards and letters.
All designed to make it appear that President Benson is still at the
helm."
"The notion that my grandfather's two
counselors, Gordon B. Hinckley and Thomas S. Monson could review
anything with my grandfather is nonsense."
This testimony
from Benson's own grandson is troublesome, but trustworthy.
The prophetic word of the angel Moroni takes on both flesh
and bones:
"Has the day of
miracles ceased?
Or have angels ceased to appear unto the children of
men?
Or has he withheld the
power of the Holy Ghost from them?
Or will he, so long as time shall
last, or the earth shall
stand, or there shall be one man upon the face thereof to be saved?
Behold I say unto
you; Nay; for it is by faith that miracles are wrought; and it is by
faith that angels appear and minister unto men; wherefore, if this
things have ceased wo be unto the children of men, for it is because of
unbelief, and all is vain."
"And again, I
exhort you, my brethren, that ye deny not the gifts of God,
for they
are many; and they come from the same God.
And there are different ways that these gifts are
administered; but it is the same God who works all in all; and they are
given by the manifestation of the Spirit of God unto men, to profit
them, one is given by the Spirit of God, that he may teach the word of
wisdom,
another, that he may teach the word of knowledge, another, exceedingly
great faith,
another, the gift of healing by the same spirit,
to another, that he may work mighty miracles,
another, that he may prophesy concerning all things,
another the beholding of angels, all kinds of tongues,
the interpretation of languages and
of divers kinds of tongues
and all these gifts of which I have spoken, which are spiritual,
never will be done away, even as long as the world shall stand,
only according to the unbelief of the
children of men.
And now I speak
unto all the ends of the earth that if the day cometh that the power
and gifts of God shall be done away among you, it shall be because of
unbelief. And the reason why he ceaseth to do miracles among the
children of men, is because that they dwindle in unbelief, and depart
from the right way, and know not the God in whom they should
trust."
Moroni 7: 35-37;
10: 8-17, 19, 24; Mormon 9: 20 Also: D.
& C. 46: 17-26
This
is devastating, a destructive blow against the whole Mormon church!
Where are
all these things?
This prophetic word of Moroni was given
400 years after Christ, it points towards our
own times.
You may consider my contribution to this
debate as
an attack upon the Mormon church,
but is it really so? I have
no
desire to do such a thing. I went into prayer and conversed
with the
Lord, I asked him to tell me the truth about the Gentile church
in
the latter days, because the B of M. told me to do so! The
Lord
did not answer my prayers, and in all my loneliness and uncertainty,
I put up a hopeless struggle, a battle with the Lord himself! The
truth is that the Lord gave in! because I fought, I refused to give in,
I
firmly believed that my case was righteous, and here I lay
before you his answer to me, this is my testimony, in all its
naivety,
I believe the Lord really did answer my question.
Do I hurt the church? Of course, I do. If what here I say is
true, not to say, the Truth,
I am mutilating the whole Mormon church after 47 years of membership.
I know perfectly well that I shall stand before my God and my
heavenly Father at the outermost day of the Lord, to be made
responsible for my teaching and all my acts throughout my whole
78 years life.
I considered myself in a desperate and
dangerous situation. If I were wrong, if I were inspired by the
Devil himself, then I was in opposition to God, even without
knowing.
I realized there was only one thing to do, once again I
needed the remedy,
given us from the Lord himself:
" Have ye inquired of the Lord?"
I was a lonely, old, weak man, but I was not
defenseless! I did the only right thing:
I went into prayer, like the first time, mostly in the middle of the
night:
"Oh, Lord, you have in many places promised to
listen to your children, Oh Lord,
I am drowning, help me! Show mercy toward me! I take all the
hosts in heaven as witnesses that I called upon your name for knowledge,
for information about my own true state and standing, and you
didn't answer me. You have showed me, so I believe, that the
both Gentile churches fall into ruin. Now, show me that I
am completely wrong,
The Lord did answer me, He never let me down. He
did not warn me against my "imagination," he confirmed
and strengthened my understanding of the true situation of the
Mormon church. Now I have no doubt whatsoever:
“You have inquired of me and I did enlighten your
mind; and now I tell these things that you may
know that you have been enlightened by the Spirit of truth. Behold, I
have manifested unto you, by my Spirit in many instances, that the
things which you have written are true; wherefore you know that they
are true. And if you know that they are true, behold, I give unto you a
command-
ment, that you rely upon the things which are written. Verily, verily,
I say unto you, blessed are you for what you have done; for you have
inquired of me, and behold, as often as you have inquired you have
received instruction of my Spirit. If it had not been so, you would not
have come to the place where you are at this time. Behold, you know
that you have inquired of me and I did enlighten your mind; and now I
tell you these things that you may know that you have been enlightened
by the Spirit of truth. Yea, I tell you, that you may know that there
is none else save God that knows your thoughts and the intents of your
heart. I tell you these things as a witness unto you, that the words or
the work which you have been writing are true."
D. & C. 18: 2, 3; 6: 14-17
This word of God was given to Oliver
Cowdery, he was an ordinary man. But take solemnly into
consideration, Oliver, was ordained before the foundation of the
world
to be charged with the task as one of "The Three
Witnesses," to the Book of Mormon.
(Compare; Jeremiah 1: 5)
I am completely convinced of that the both Gentile
churches fall into ruin! Not only the Gentile church in
Ancient Times, which developed from a Lamb into that mighty
Monster, Christianity, but the Gentile church, the Mormon
church in "the latter days" as well. That good book, the Book
of Mormon, tells us: "The last in the latter days", ISRAEL, is
the people of God, they shall survive in the combat against
Satan, not the Gentiles churches, they have, both of them,
already lost that fight.
"The last" in the latter days, ISRAEL, resist Satan.
Let us look, at last, how it is finally
to end with, "the natural fruit" and
"the natural
branches," of "the tame, good Olive tree," which
is ISRAEL
and "the wild branches" from "the wild Olive tree," which is the
GENTILES.
This occurrence will take place just before the Millennium.
The B. of M. gives us the divine answer:
ISRAEL: "The last in the
latter days."
"The
natural branches began to grow and thrive exceedingly."
With ISRAEL, as a nation,
he
shall reign the whole Millennium.
